It has been bought to my attention that there are a number of students (mostly boys) that are not tying their long hair up. This is a health issue. If students continue not to tie their hair back or in a bun, they will be required to sit out at recess or lunch time.
I have also seen some various coloured sport shoes that the students are wearing. As per the uniform policy, sport shoes should be predominately white. Teachers will be monitoring what students are wearing and advise them to change their shoes and to follow the school policy.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, regarding some work that needs to happen in the church tomorrow, we have had to cancel tomorrow’s mass. We will look to having a thanksgiving mass sometime next term in our undercover area.
We look forward to seeing all the children coming to school dressed in their favourite team colours for a gold coin donation as we are fundraising for the mission work carried out by the Mercy sisters.
I have been asked by the Director of CEWA to relieve as principal at Luurnpa Catholic School during fourth term (10 weeks). I have accepted the invitation and will be travelling to Balgo during the second week of the school holidays.
